Wimberley To Bueschar State Park

Today started out nice and cool. We even had to slip a jacket on. The night was cool and I think I slept better than I have for a while.Today warmed up to about 84 according to the truck. I am sure it seemed hotter to Paul while he was out riding. I left camp at about 12 for a drive that should have taken me a little over an hour. Since I got lost it took me a couple of hours. I was listening to my gps but sometimes I have a hard time seeing where they want me to turn. That is what happened today. Then it kept telling me to turn right and I just wouldn't believe it. Finally I pulled into a business and went in to ask for directions. They even printed me up some. When I tried to follow them I still couldn't get back where I needed to go. I ended up on a toll road that I had no idea where it went. My gps kept saying "recalculating" I finally realized it didn't have this road in it's maps so I got off on the next exit. Then the gps started working again. It took me on some very rural back roads and I started to wonder if I would ever get where I needed to be. I had a few very frustrating minutes there. However the gps did get me on the right road eventually. What would I have done without it? We just finished eating and the evening is cooling off and very pleasant. We are in a state park filled with trees and a small lake. Paul and I walked down and watched the ducks on the lake for a while. It is actually nice enough that I am sitting outside to type this blog. We have lawn chairs with footrests and it is so nice to sit here and be comfortable. The seating in our trailer is not as comfortable as I had hoped. Paul wants me to spell derrick as in oil derrick and check the spelling since he saw some oil derricks on his ride today. We did not try to meet up for lunch today so he saw things I didn't.
