Kerrville, Texas

I thought I had posted my blog for yesterday but we were pulling from someone elses wi fi and I think I lost connection just before I posted Today we are in Kerrville. It is in the heart of hill country. Yesterday Paul and I both went over some hills. Today Paul had more hills to climb so I asked the gas station attendant if there was an easier way to get from there to here and she told me about some different roads. It made a real difference in my day to avoid having to do all that climbing pulling the trailer. I got to our campsite at about 1:30 today and did not meet up with Paul for lunch. Paul arrived a little after 2 and after relaxing for a few we went to the swimming pool and cooled off. The pool was a salt water pool. It was nice because it did not smell of clorine. Then we dicided to run to town so I could get my hair cut. I had about 7 in. cut off. I think it will be so much cooler for the summer months. The last 2 days when Paul has left to ride the sky has clouded over and kept it from getting so hot so soon. I think he is being blessed. The sun still comes out in the afternoon and it definately feels like summer here. tonight we tried something new. We cooked a pizza in our microwave-convection oven. It worked pretty good. Tonight we got a movie from redbox and we have cable TV so I guess we will have a TV kind of night. We have found a church to attend tomorrow. It is only about 4 miles away. Tonight our campground is right on the Guadalupe River. I think I will walk out and see if the sun is going to have a nice sunset tonight.
