Morganza to Easleyville to Poplarville Mississippi

Last night we were out of any area where internet could be reached so we didn't post yesterday. We did cross the Mississippi River on a ferry. Paul and I tried to time it so we would go across the river at the same time and it worked pretty good. I got in line and then I wondered if he woud make it in time but he did. It feels kind of like a landmark to cross that river. I actually didn't realize how far East it was. Today we crossed over to the state of Misissippi. One more state completed. Actually we are going to drive back to La. to New Orleans and spend Easter weekend with Justin and his family, They are in the process of moving there. It will be good to see family again. Jean is going to meet us in New Orleans as well and travel with us for a week or so. It will be fun to see the babies again. All along the roads in La and Eastern Texas there is some kind of plant that is in bloom with a nice fragrance and we have also seem some honeysuckle still in bloom and a few Magnolias but nothing like the trees that are flowering in Oregon right now. I miss all the spring flowers back home. Everything is very green here and there are way more trees than I expected. Many of them are trees that I am unfamiliar with. Not only are the trees green but the fields and yards are very lush. I think in that regard the cows and horses are lucky. I am not so sure they are lucky to live in such a warm climate. Today seems to be cooler though. It has been cloudy all day and almost feels like it could rain but it has not done so. With all the humidity we have had a shower is a must for me tonight.
