Washington to Morganza.
The campground we camped at last night had a tavern on the property. The good news was the tavern is closed on Mondays. The bad news is the tavern is closed on Mondays and there would have been access to better bathrooms if it had been open. The setting was very pretty but there were some old buildings on the property that had a bad smell so sometimes we could smell them. Today we have moved on to Morganza. The rv park here has nicer bathrooms and showers but is not much more than a parking lot. It is very windy here and the wind blows our little trailer a bit. My drive today was very frustrating. I tried to put Morganza into the gps and must have got it wrong. It felt like I traveled in a big circle. Finally I came to a freeway and just pulled over to study the map. Some nice guy parked close by came over and saw that I had Oregon plates and pointed me in the right direction. I went ove a tall bridge and than over a long causeway that seemed like it went on forever. Then when I got over there I missed my turn and had to go down and turn around, then to pour salt into my wound I missed the turn off again and ended up going back over the cause way and bridge again before I could get turned around. I ended up going over the bridge and cause way three times before I got on the right road. I sure was relieved to see a sign for this rv park. Today the temperture when I got here was 88 degrees acording to my truck and the humidity must be close to that as well.Tomorrow I think I will follow Pauls bike maps instead of the gps. We will be taking a ferry across the Mississippi River
