Silsbee to DeRidder Louisiana

Today we left Texas. I have almost become fond of it. The Eastern half of Texas is very beautiful. I could even see myself coming back to this area someday if it were not so far from home. We have met many nice people here. It has been interesting as we have moved across country to realize how many people live in RV Parks full time and how many people use them to work out of. Many of the parks we have stopped at have rv's that are rented by companies so that their employees can use them when they are working in the area. Paul and are becoming experts on what would make a perfect RV Park. The land is much flatter here now and Paul is able to make good time in his riding. Today we got into De Ridder at pretty much the same time. After getting settled in we took showers and went to town to do our laundry. They have a laundry here but it didn't look like it was in the best shape so we thought we would make it an outing and go to town to do it. It is nice to have everything clean for the coming week. We heard that there has been some rough weather in some parts of the south and east. We have not experienced any bad weather, in fact it has been lovely. We have had cool mornings and warm afternoons but low humidity so the weather has been very pleasant. I hope it stays like this until we get out of the hot and humid part of the country. I realize that is too much to hope for but I will anyway.
