Herrick Mi
We are still at Herrick. When we arrived on Friday our campsite was right next to a camp site with about a hundred kids and a bunch of adults smoking and a couple of dogs so we asked for a different site and we were able to move for a couple of nights and then today we had to move again. It was worth it to have a more peaceful camp site. Today we went to church in Harrison Mi. It was a small branch but nice. Yesterday we had a very hot day. It was so humid that when we stopped the truck where we had air conditioning going and got out into the heat my glasses fogged up so I had to take them off so I could see. It was close to 90 with humidity close to 90 as well. We went to the beach in this campground and cooled off in the pond. It felt really good. Today it was a little cooler and much less humid. Tomorrow we will be back on the road even though it is the 4th of July. While we were in town Saturday doing our laundry we went to a "world famous" donut shop called Cops and Donuts. The bakery was about to close it's doors and the local law inforcement decided to buy it and keep it open. Of course we had never heard of this so I am not so sure how famous it is but it was fun and of course we had to buy a donut there.
