El Centro to Blythe
Today we traveled from El Centro To Blythe. Tomorrow we will leave California. It has been sunny and nice today. The truck said it was 75 degrees at 3:30 in the afternoon. Paul shed all of his extra clothes as the day progressed. I finished my book and started another. The road today was strange. We had no big mountains to climb but we had a number of areas where the road went up and down over and over again. It was disconcerting to come to the top of a hill and not really be able to see what was on the other side. We went past sand dunes that looked very much like our dunes in Oregon. I guess it is a favorite place for atvs. Tonight we have what is called a warm shower again. We have a nice place to park our trailer in the back of a bait shop. It is right next to one of the irrigation canals that come from the Colorado river. Tonight we are having chili and chips for dinner and tomorrow we pass to Mt standard time. Paul is doing great.
